BADALPUR, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA – SEPTEMBER 13, 2026 25-year-old singer Gaurav died after being electrocuted at a hotel in the Badalpur area. The incident occurred after he apparently came into contact with a nearby 11 kV high-voltage power line while looking out from the hotel’s gallery.
Gaurav was at the hotel with a female companion. When he approached the window and looked outside, his hand came into contact with the power line, causing a fatal electric shock. The incident was captured by the hotel’s security camera. Police took the body for an autopsy and launched an investigation into the case.
