NINGBO, ZHEJIANG PROVINCE, CHINA – SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 During a fire in a six-story apartment building, a woman tried to escape the flames by climbing out of a window on the top floor and holding onto a balcony railing. However, thick black smoke and flames gradually cut her off from any possible escape.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and attempted to reach the woman using an exterior staircase. However, it only reached the fifth floor, while the woman was one floor above. She tried several times to climb down on her own, but without success. As the fire spread further and the flames and smoke moved closer, the woman made another attempt to save herself. She suddenly lost her grip and fell from the building.
Her subsequent fate was not immediately confirmed in the available information. A video capturing her fall later spread online.
