Outside Murphy’s bar, McLemore doused himself in gasoline and set himself ablaze, transforming into a human torch. His screams of agony filled the night as flames consumed his body, witnessed by onlookers, including his ex-girlfriend Alyssa Moore.
Despite desperate attempts to save him, McLemore succumbed to his injuries, his life extinguished in a blaze of torment. This brutal public spectacle underscored the dire consequences of untreated mental illness and raised urgent questions about social media’s role in broadcasting such tragedies.
