PEKANBARU, RIAU, INDONESIA – APRIL 29, 2026 60-year-old Dimaris Isni Sitio was murdered inside her home in Pekanbaru after she was attacked by a group of at least four perpetrators. The entire attack was captured by security cameras.
According to police, the perpetrators initially came to the house under the pretext of visiting her. Two women spoke with the victim in the living room before one of the men suddenly attacked her. He repeatedly struck her in the head before she was left sitting motionless in a chair. The attack continued even after she lost consciousness.
The perpetrators subsequently damaged several cameras to cover their tracks and took jewelry, cash, and a mobile phone from the house. The footage shows at least four people gradually leaving the scene by car or motorcycle.
The victim’s husband later found her dead and lying face down in the kitchen. Bloodstains were also found at the scene, and the woman had facial injuries. Police secured the camera footage and transported the body for an autopsy.
