RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA – OCTOBER 28, 2026 Woman believed to be around 50 years old died after being run over by a truck carrying concrete. The tragic accident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Miller Road and Russ Baker Way, near Vancouver International Airport.
Police officers and emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene, but they were unable to save the woman. The concrete mixer truck driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The case has been taken over by a specialized police unit responsible for serious traffic collisions. Investigators are now determining the exact circumstances of the crash and are asking any potential witnesses and drivers with dashcam footage to come forward and provide their recordings. The victim’s identity and any potential responsibility on the part of the driver have not yet been disclosed.
