GUASIPATI, BOLÍVAR, VENEZUELA – MARCH 6, 2025 17-year-old Luisanny Alejandra Belisario Pérez was found dead in the flooded Pozo Robert pit in the Santa Rita neighborhood. Her body was in an advanced state of decomposition, and an autopsy revealed signs of strangulation and other forms of violence. The young mother had been missing since March 3, 2025.

Her 25-year-old partner, Danny José Barreto, was charged with her murder and reportedly confessed to the crime. According to investigators, he killed her out of jealousy and suspicion of infidelity. A 17-year-old boy was also allegedly involved in the crime, helping him mutilate the body afterward.
