ITABUNA, BRAZIL – JULY 7, 2011 Marilúcia Santana, 25, was found in a pool of blood in her home on Rua Bionor Rebouças in the Antique district. She had a sheet tied over her face and a stab wound from a kitchen knife in her body.
The crime was committed by her husband, who immediately fled the scene and police have been unable to track him down. Neighbours said they were both heavy drug users.
