PUERTO PILÓN, COLÓN PROVINCE, PANAMA – APRIL 27, 2026 Two men died in an armed attack in the Villa Catalina community. The incident took place near the Mini Súper Nuevo 72 store, where, according to preliminary information, a vehicle carrying three armed men arrived. They opened fire on one of the men present and continued shooting him several more times after he fell to the ground.
However, one of the attackers also died during the shootout. He was likely struck by one of the ricocheting bullets. The remaining two gunmen then fled in an unknown direction.
