Modern-day slavery in Saudi Arabia

SAUDI ARABIA Rich Saudis are lazy to work and often import foreign workers. Workers from Europe and America hold good positions, such as medical staff or teachers. The menial jobs are mostly done by workers from Africa and the Philippines. And the Saudis don’t exactly have much respect for them. Even with the laws of a country that doesn’t give foreign workers many rights, what is happening there can be described as modern slavery. Some foreign workers are paid less than the minimum wage, live in an untenable environment and are physically punished. This Saudi punishes his black African employee by tying him to a chair and whipping him.
