PUCALLPA, PERU, 2021 26-year-old woman was returning home from a party on a motorcycle driven by a 16-year-old teenager. Apparently, he was also in a state of severe inebriation. On Yarinacocha Avenue, he lost control of the steering and crashed into the sidewalk at a high rate of speed.
The crash was fatal for the woman. Her head literally split in two. She still showed vital signs for some time, but died upon arrival at the hospital. She left behind one child.
The 16-year-old motorcycle driver was luckier. He suffered only some minor injuries to his left leg. He was hospitalized, but released a few days later for home treatment.
