He was identified as 37-year-old Luis Alberto Ortega, who worked as an officer in the municipal police. When he was off-duty, two armed robbers attempted to steal his motorcycle. He responded by drawing his weapon. This caused the robbers to shoot. Luis was hit twice and hospitalized in critical condition.
