Armed attack leaves 3 dead and 16 injured

ECUADOR – JULY 26, 2026 In an armed attack outside a bar, three people were reportedly killed and another 16 were injured, according to available information. According to the information available so far, armed attackers arrived at the scene and began shooting at people who were outside the bar.

Unfortunately, similar attacks on bars, nightclubs, or pool halls are not uncommon in Ecuador. They are often connected to gang-related settling of scores.
