MYANMAR (BURMA) 25-year-old Myanmar woman, Cynthia Swe, was found hanged in a public restroom. She was discovered by a random passerby. He stated that when he first walked by, he heard a woman crying from inside. When he passed by the same place again about 20 minutes later, it was quiet, but a mobile phone was ringing repeatedly. That aroused his curiosity.
The police investigation revealed that Cynthia Swe lived for social media. On Instagram and YouTube, where she posted short dance videos, she had about 50,000 followers. However, her last post was different in tone. In it, she complained about her ex-boyfriend. He allegedly took all the money she had saved in her life and used her for sex. Then he left her, alone and in depression. That was likely the motive for her desperate act.
