SERANG, BANTEN, INDONESIA – APRIL, 2025 In a remote location in the jungle near the city of Serang in the Gunung Sari area, a dead female body was found. She was already in the early stages of decomposition. Her head and all limbs had been severed. Her abdominal cavity was opened. According to a forensic expert, she died a terrible and agonizing death, as she was reportedly still alive at the time her legs were amputated. She was identified as only 19-year-old Siti Amelie.

The investigation soon led the police to her boyfriend, 23-year-old Mulyana. Under police interrogation, he confessed to the brutal act. The motive, he said, was her pregnancy, due to which she pressured him to marry her. But he never intended to. Instead, he lured her to a remote location with the intention of murdering her brutally. According to his testimony, the murder took place on April 13. He was apprehended by the police on April 19.
