STROITEL, BELGOROD OBLAST, RUSSIA In the early hours, a young woman was found hanged at a children’s playground near apartment buildings. She was hanging from a children’s slide, with her knees touching the ground. Police were immediately called to the scene, and they began investigating her death and working to establish her identity. She was described as 5.77 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds (176 cm and 68 kg).

It didn’t take long for her identity to be confirmed as 23-year-old Tatyana (Татьяна). She lived in an apartment building near the place where she took her life. She worked as a photographer at a local business.
Her neighbors described her behavior the night before as strange and criticized the police response. Reportedly, Tatyana asked her building superintendent for the keys to the attic while holding a rope in her hand. The superintendent refused to give her the keys and alerted the police, but they declined to take action.
The police received a second call from other neighbors who saw her walking around the courtyard with a rope in her hand. This request was also ignored.
Although bruises and scratches were found on her body, the forensic expert ruled out foul play. It was said she caused them herself while trying to get out of the noose.
According to some reports, Tatyana had recently gone through a painful breakup, which likely motivated this desperate act.
