Woman had her throat slit because of debt

NIGERIA Villagers found a woman’s corpse on a dirt road near a populated area. She had clearly died a violent death at first glance – someone had slit her throat. As it later turned out, she owed a lot of money to many creditors. She was trapped in debt that she didn’t want and could no longer repay. This was considered the likely motive for her murder.
