CHILECITO, LA RIOJA, ARGENTINA – APRIL 6, 2024 In the neighborhood of Hipólito Yrigoyen, a 53-year-old man was murdered in front of his own home. Security camera footage shows two men attacking and stabbing him to death. They then entered his house, but fled shortly afterward.
When police were collecting evidence in the victim’s home, they discovered that he wasn’t just an employee at a Shell gas station. He also had a side job involving the sale of hard drugs. Inside the house, they found over 5.5 pounds (2.5 kg) of cocaine and a large amount of cash. This was likely the attackers’ motive.
