Beaten up by passersby for knife attack on his ex

MADANAIYAKANAHALLI, KARNATAKA, INDIA – MAY, 2026 Dramatic incident occurred in the suburbs of Bengaluru, when a masked man on a scooter attacked a young girl in public with a knife. It was reportedly his ex-girlfriend. The attack took place in broad daylight.

However, the situation did not turn tragic thanks to the quick reaction of local residents. One passerby, reportedly a young boy, distracted the attacker, and other people from the area then joined in. Together they overpowered him, disarmed him, and detained him until the police arrived, thereby saving the girl from serious injury.
