Female passenger of mototaxi dies in accident

VOLTA REDONDA, RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – APRIL 11, 2024 In the Vila Mury neighborhood on Avenida Almirante Adalberto de Barros Nunes, there was a fatal collision between a mototaxi and a car when the car driver failed to yield to the motorcycle and cut it off. The 33-year-old passenger, Mara da Silva, died at the scene. The 27-year-old motorcycle driver sustained serious injuries and was transported in critical condition to the São João Batista hospital.
