TERESINA, PIAUÍ, BRAZIL – JUNE 12, 2025 Two robbers targeted a customer at a flower shop, stealing personal belongings that included a gold bracelet and chain. A plainclothes police officer happened to witness the robbery and immediately intervened by drawing his weapon. A shootout followed, leaving one of the robbers seriously wounded. His partner managed to flee the scene and is still at large.
The confrontation occurred on Avenida Raul Lopes, in the eastern zone of the city. Emergency services rushed the injured suspect to the hospital, where he received treatment for his wounds. Once stable, he will be held accountable for his actions and face justice.
