RUI’AN CITY, WENZHOU, ZHEJIANG PROVINCE, CHINA – JUNE 17, 2025 Following repeated failed attempts to pursue legal action, a woman chose a tragic and extreme form of protest. She poured flammable liquid over herself and ignited it outside a government office. Emergency responders arrived swiftly and managed to put out the flames, but despite their efforts, she sustained critical injuries that proved fatal.
