KAYSERI, TURKEY – JUNE 15, 2014 18-year-old girl and a 31-year-old man were found dead in a remote area near the city of Kayseri. Both had gunshot wounds to the head, and a rifle was found beside them. Forensic experts determined, based on the bullet entry points, trajectory, and gunpowder residue, that the man first shot the girl and then himself. Although the exact motive is unknown, it is known that they were a couple.
