ROHTAS, BIHAR, INDIA – AUGUST 2, 2025 Driver of a Thar vehicle (equivalent to a Jeep) lost control due to high speed and crashed into a woman and a group of three men. Then he ended up in a drainage canal. The accident claimed one life.

Footage from a CCTV camera shows a group of men talking on a bridge railing. A woman carrying some things approaches them. Suddenly, the Thar vehicle appears, hits the woman and then the group of men. From the video, it is clear that the woman was aware of the vehicle with enough time to react. Unfortunately, she thought too slowly.
The woman, later identified as 40-year-old Indu Devi, unfortunately died on the spot. The three men suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized in a private clinic. Now they should all be in stable condition. The vehicle’s driver fled the accident scene and police are currently searching intensively for him.
