Aftermath of bombing attack in Sanaa, Yemen

SANAA, YEMEN – MAY 21, 2012 May 21, 2012, was recorded in black letters in the modern history of Yemen. During a military parade at Al-Sabin Square, a suicide bomber infiltrated a group of soldiers and detonated an explosive on himself. The attack killed at least 96 people, mostly soldiers, and injured more than 200. The attack was quickly attributed to the terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia, which is a branch of the infamous Al-Qaeda.
