DOM ELISEU, PARÁ, BRAZIL – APRIL 19, 2026 48-year-old man identified as Fernando Pereira da Silva, known by the nickname “Fernandão”, was assassinated while drinking beer with friends in front of a bar. Two hitmen arrived at the scene on a motorcycle, with the passenger opening fire while the other controlled the driving. When they assumed Fernandão was dead, they fled the crime scene.
However, Fernando did not die immediately. He was transported in critical condition to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead only after several hours.
Police secured 14 spent .380 caliber shell casings at the scene and launched an intensive investigation. However, there is still no information about the perpetrators or their motive.
