Badly injured woman after motorcycle accident can’t stop smiling

24-year-old woman was travelling on a motorcycle as a passenger. When the motorcycle crashed, she was seriously injured. Besides the open wound on her face and the injured eye, she had many fractures. The shock of the accident caused her disorientation and very unusual but easily explained behaviour. She couldn’t stop smiling. It’s not because she was happy, but there were major hormonal changes in her body in response to the trauma she had experienced.
