CHAPECÓ, SANTA CATARINA, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 7, 2025 41-year-old Valter de Vargas Aita, known under the pseudonym “Valtinho,” was a Brazilian recognized bodybuilder, personal trainer, multiple state competition champion, and vice world champion of the WFF 2024.

On September 7, he argued with his wife, 41-year-old Andrea Carvalho Aita. In a fit of emotions during the quarrel, she grabbed a knife and stabbed him several times – in the stomach, back, face, and neck. The injured man tried to escape outside his apartment and seek help, but eventually collapsed on the staircase, where he was found dead. He left behind many bloody traces in the apartment as well as in the hallway of the residential building.

Aita tried to actively defend himself during the attack, thereby causing Andrea a serious injury. She was found on the floor of the apartment and transported in critical condition to the hospital. If she survives, the police will request custody for her and she will face a charge of murder.
As the investigation showed, Andrea Carvalho Aita was no saint. She had a criminal record from the state of Rio Grande do Sul for armed robbery with a fatal consequence. Some sources claim that she is an aggressive and mentally unbalanced person. However, the investigation continues, mainly with the aim of determining the motive of their conflict and whether another person was present at the scene.
