MEXICO – FEBRUARY 11, 2026 Man committed a series of armed robberies in territory controlled by a drug cartel. When they caught him, they showed him no mercy and executed him in a brutal manner. Before they shot him in the head, they cut off both his hands while he was alive and fully conscious.
Cartels enforce their own laws in their territory and see to their enforcement. Punishments are often physical, and executions are no exception. It is not that cartel members are peaceful, but it is in their business interest to have peace in their territory and not attract the attention of the police.
