SÃO LUÍS, MARANHÃO, BRAZIL – AUGUST 17, 2025 In the Bairro Alemanha neighborhood, a woman was brutally attacked by her husband. He punched her to the ground, and even though she was completely defenseless, he continued the assault with fists and kicks.
The likely trigger for his aggression was an argument and intoxication. They were reportedly returning from a family celebration where they had consumed alcohol. Random bystanders heard them arguing about infidelity just before the attack.
