Off-duty cop shot guy who threatened his ex-wife with knife

MARABÁ, PARÁ, BRAZIL – DECEMBER 1, 2024 Guy armed with a knife entered Havan’s shop to take out his complexes and jealousy on his ex-wife. He almost took her hostage, threatened her with a knife and demanded that she hand over her mobile phone to him. This situation was not indifferent to the off-duty police officer. He used a pistol and shot the assailant directly in the head. However, his brain was not damaged and he survived thanks to timely medical attention. The officer is now facing charges and it will be examined whether it was unavoidable to use a gun in such a situation.
