NAIROBI, KENYA – JANUARY 16, 2019 January 15, 2019 has been written in black letters in the history of Kenya. Five armed terrorists stormed the DusitD2 luxury hotel complex in the capital Nairobi. They shot indiscriminately at anyone they came across. The attack lasted until the next day when all five terrorists were eliminated.

A total of 22 people + 5 terrorists died. The attack was claimed by the Somali terrorist group Al-Shabaab. They have had several similar attacks in the past in Kenya.
