EAST JAVA, INDONESIA – SEPTEMBER, 2017 Eka Yuniarti, 16 years old (some sources say 17 years old), was brutally raped behind a hut in a rice field. The victim was found naked from the waist down. Her face was badly bruised, her eyes were gouged out and her genitals were pierced.

The police managed to catch the rapist. He was only 17-year-old Muhammad Madinatul Huda. He confessed to the crime. He said he and a group of friends were all drinking alcohol. When the police patrol went by, they ran to hide in a field as they were all underage. He and Eka hid behind a hut. He started groping her and she fought back. Then he hit her on the head with a log, strangled her and raped her. Then he forced a wooden stick into her genitals and bruised her corpse.

He also testified that he did not like the girl because she had taunted him in the past for being ugly. She also did this in front of her boyfriend and lover, which humiliated him greatly.
