SÃO MIGUEL, RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, BRAZIL – OCTOBER 16, 2025 In the Alto Oeste region, a local businessman, 51-year-old Isomar Cesário Soares, was attacked by armed assailants. Two masked hitmen on a motorcycle entered his car dealership and opened fire without warning. Isomar tried to run, but the bullet was faster – he fell dead to the ground.

An off-duty police officer at the scene returned fire, killing one of the attackers. Unfortunately, the incident also claimed the life of a third, uninvolved victim – 19-year-old Miquéias Oliveira de Carvalho – who was struck in the chest by a stray bullet.

Police are currently working to identify the dead assailant’s accomplice and determine their motive. The bullet that killed Miquéias is undergoing ballistic analysis to find out which weapon it came from.
