Clown and his friend assassinated in Chinese restaurant

CHIMBOTE, PERU – NOVEMBER 14, 2025 Well-known clown Alexis Pacherres “Farolito” and his friend Hugo Haro Alarcón were brutally murdered at a table in the Chinese restaurant La Carpa by two men posing as customers, who shot them at close range. After the attack, the perpetrators stole their phones and wallets and fled.

Investigators are considering two main motives: disputes between Hugo Haro Alarcón and a local gang leader, and a possible romantic conflict. Security cameras captured the attack, showing the perpetrators shooting and committing the robbery. Police and prosecutors continue their investigation to clarify the motive and bring the culprits to justice.
