SANTA LÚCIA, SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – JANUARY 25, 2025 Security camera on Santa Lúcia’s main street captured the moment a woman standing on the pavement was hit by a car. The consequences for her were fatal. The car pinned her against the wall and crushed her completely. The driver of the car was seriously injured and was trapped inside the wreckage.
Some witnesses said they saw the car hit another woman riding a motorcycle. They say she died, too. But this information is not confirmed.
Although the accident is still under police investigation, it is likely that alcohol at the wheel was to blame. The results of the driver’s blood test were positive.
