GHANA – FEBRUARY 8, 2018 Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, born February 16, 1997, was a Ghanaian celebrity. She performed under the stage name Ebony Reigns and devoted herself to Afrobeats style music.

On 8 February 2018, she died in a road accident while returning home to Accra from her mother. Her friend and Franklin’s manager Yaa Nkansah Kuri and soldier Atsu Vondee were traveling with her in the car. Both died in the accident as well. The only survivor of the accident was the driver of the car named Phinehas.
Due to Ebony Reigns’ popularity across Ghana, she was given a grand state funeral and her family received many gifts from dignitaries.
After her death, photos of the accident became public. Later, photos from the morgue and a video of Ebony naked were also leaked.
