NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA, USA – JULY, 2022 Incident took place outside a 7-Eleven on Warwick Boulevard. 24-year-old Michael Faison Jr. got into a conversation with a random girl and complimented her tattoo.
But out of nowhere, her boyfriend, 30-year-old Divine Jackson, appeared, and the scene of his girlfriend talking to a strange man awakened considerable jealousy in him. He got into an argument with him, pulled out a gun and shot him in cold blood.
Divine Jackson was sentenced by the court to life imprisonment. He stated in court that he was drunk that day and apologized to the victim’s family for murdering an innocent man.
