Cops shoot guy who stabbed his mother

LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA, USA – NOVEMBER 8, 2023 Long Beach police officers were called to the 300 block of 69th Way for a reported stabbing. At the scene they came into contact with the suspect, identified as 38 year old Eriberto Penaloza. He was covered in blood and had a knife a short distance from him. When he reached for it, the officers opened fire, killing him. It was discovered that Penaloza had previously stabbed his own mother.
