Police shot dead a man holding his young son hostage

SARANDI, BRAZIL – DECEMBER 13, 2023 Police were forced to kill a man in self-defence by a third party during a raid in the Vale Azul neighbourhood. He was holding his young son hostage and threatening his life. He threatened to cut his throat with a knife. The man’s motive was that he had not accepted the end of his relationship with his partner.
