Police and firefighters were called to the scene of an assault where 35-year-old Kelly Simone Souza suffered a hand injury from a sharp object.
According to witnesses and preliminary reports, the attack was carried out by her partner after a heated argument. The situation escalated further when another young woman, witnessing the attack, decided to step in and help Kelly. A video that later surfaced on social media shows the aggressor dragging his partner, while the second woman picks up a shovel and tries to stop him. Enraged, the man then attacked her as well.
Emergency responders acted quickly. Kelly received first aid on-site before being transported to the municipal hospital for further medical evaluation. Meanwhile, police launched an investigation and are actively searching for the fleeing suspect.
Speculation has arisen on social media regarding whether Kelly’s hand injury was actually caused by the shovel in the chaos of the struggle. However, video evidence clearly shows her partner attacking her, and authorities are focusing their investigation on him.
