BUGA, VALLE DEL CAUCA, COLOMBIA – SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 Incident took place in front of a nightclub in the La Merced district. When 23-year-old Gabriela Trejos González walked out, an armed man approached her, killed her with a single shot to the head, and fled the scene. A ricocheted bullet injured another person. The entire attack was recorded by security cameras.

It turned out that the victim came from a respected local family. Her father, Marco Trejos, served as the chairman of the board of a business and has long been among the prominent figures in the city’s business community. The position and activities of her family are one of the lines of investigation for the detectives.
According to the police, however, the most probable version is that Gabriela became a victim of mistaken identity and the attacker was actually targeting another person. The results of ballistic examination allegedly support this hypothesis.
