SOBRADINHO, BAHIA, BRAZIL – JUNE 12, 2025 Near the bank of the São Francisco River, close to the town of Sobradinho, the washed-up dead body of a woman was found. Footage shows rescue personnel working to retrieve her. The body will be sent to the Institute of Forensic Sciences, where it will undergo standard procedures to determine her identity and the cause of death. Initial indications reportedly suggested that she drowned by unfortunate accident.
