FITZGERALD, GEORGIA, USA – SEPTEMBER 13, 2023 William “Jack” Sumner, 68, a pilot, died in a small plane crash in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The plane crashed on East Suwanee Street near the intersection of Monitor Drive. There was one passenger in the plane who sustained very serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
