IWAKA, CENTRAL PAPUA, INDONESIA – DECEMBER 2, 2025 Body of a man with his head severed was found by the roadside in the SP9 area around noon. According to video footage that subsequently spread on social media, the body was lying on the side of the road near a motorcycle, while the severed head was on the roadway.
Police confirmed the discovery and sent forensic investigators and technicians to the scene, where they began an investigation. At the time the report was published, the man’s identity and the circumstances of his death were unknown. The cause of the decapitation had not been confirmed.
