BRAZIL Passerby discovered the body of a young man while walking through a wooded area. At first glance, it was clear that he had died a violent death – his head had been severed and placed on a tree near the body, and his personal belongings were scattered around the scene.
Police carried out standard procedures at the site before the body was transported to the morgue for a forensic autopsy. The victim was identified, but his identity was never made public. The only confirmed fact is that he was a gang member, and his death is very likely connected to that.
