DOMODEDOVO, RUSSIA – NOVEMBER 10, 2024 Near Moscow, a serious traffic accident occurred in which a drunk driver of an SUV crashed into a city bus. According to available information, there were two men in a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, one of whom was an active police officer and the other a former police officer.
The accident happened in the afternoon at the intersection of Ilyushinova and Akademika Tupoleva streets, when the SUV entered the intersection and collided with a passing bus while turning. The impact was very strong and the vehicle was severely destroyed.
A forty-year-old driver died at the scene of the accident. His passenger suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. According to investigators, the cause of the accident was driving under the influence of alcohol.
