POYARKOVO, RUSSIA – NOVEMBER 7, 2020 Three stabbed female bodies were found in a house in a village in eastern Russia (near the border with China). The two women no longer showed any signs of life. The youngest – only a six-year-old girl – was still alive and the rescuers managed to transfer her to the hospital and save her life. The victims were later identified as 44-year-old Victoria Borkovskaya and her 67-year-old mother. The surviving 6-year-old girl was Victoria’s daughter.

Yasurjon Usmanov – an emigrant from Tajikistan – was arrested in connection with the murder. He stated that he had been doing handyman repairs on their home, but the woman refused to pay him. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison for two murders and one attempted murder.
