RIO BRANCO, BRAZIL – MAY 26, 2016 Josiene Santos da Silva, 19, was killed by six stab wounds with a knife. The main suspect is her 20-year-old husband Evanilson Silva Araújo, who fled after the crime. However, police managed to apprehend him 34 days later in the town of Porto Acre. The victim’s father said the young couple had been living together for two years. The man was said to be extremely jealous and often provoked conflict.
