KERMAN, CALIFORNIA, USA – OCTOBER 19, 2026 85-year-old Roy Vogt died in a traffic accident at the intersection of Madera Avenue and Whitesbridge Road. As he was crossing the intersection on an electric mobility scooter, he was struck by a commercial vehicle.
Vogt sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His head literally burst open, and his brain was scattered across the asphalt.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision. Preliminary findings suggest that neither alcohol nor drugs were involved in the crash.
