SÃO PAULO STATE, BRAZIL In countryside of the Brazilian state of São Paulo, a tragedy occurred in which an elderly woman died after a brutal attack by several pit bulls. According to authorities, the victim was found already without signs of life with many serious injuries caused by the dogs.

Military police and firefighters arrived at the scene, but it was no longer possible to help the woman. Witnesses stated that during the incident they heard screaming and tried to intervene, but the dogs were extremely aggressive and the situation was, according to locals, absolutely shocking.
The animals were secured after the attack, and police launched an investigation to determine whether the owners neglected to properly restrain them and whether they bear criminal responsibility.
